Veneers

Veneers are used to restore the form and appearance of front teeth, or can be used to improve aesthetics. They require a small amount of tooth preparation and are bonded to the tooth surface with an adhesive cement. They are great for restoring discoloured, chipped or small teeth.

Crowns

Crowns are used to restore a tooth that is heavily broken down or improve aesthetics of a tooth. They reinforce existing tooth structure while restoring the form, function and appearance of the teeth. With a glazed surface porcelain, a high level of aesthetics can be achieved. Crowns are recommended to protect teeth that have been root treated as these teeth are significantly weakened compared to healthy teeth.

Bridges

Bridges are a cost-effective way to replace a single missing tooth. They require preparing adjacent teeth to support crowns, with a replacement tooth in the middle. The load of the replacement tooth is transmitted to the adjacent teeth, and function and aesthetics are restored. If you are looking for a fixed solution to replace several missing teeth, bridges can be attached to implants, giving you a stable and fixed solution.

What to Expect

If you are seeing Dr. Minkov for the first time:

• Dr. Minkov will listen to your story and your requests for what you want to have looked at. A preliminary history of your previous dental experience. He will hear out your dental goals: any recent issues you may be having with your teeth or aesthetic changes you want to achieve. 
• Dr. Minkov will have to do a full examination(link to routine exam) of your teeth and gums, including x-rays to put together a full picture of the current condition of your mouth, identify anything that may need treatment or prevention so that we can combine your goals, your past and present to recommend a way forward that fits with you.
